Claire Nduta

I am a highly adaptable and driven individual with diverse skills and experiences. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and hold Bachelor's degree in Communication, with a minor in Psychology. I have also completed certificates in graphic design and insurance proficiency, further enhancing my abilities.

My professional experience includes working as an insurance sales and marketing agent. I successfully maintained relationships with clients, generated new leads, and contributed to businesses totaling over 20 million in premiums. I have also worked as a news directing intern, directing my own show and major live shows. Additionally, I served as a public relations intern, where I created media kits, managed social media profiles, and prepared organizational publications.

I am passionate about giving back to my community and have volunteered as a counselor/tutor at Kenyatta National Hospital and as a research volunteer for the Shamiri Institute. Through these experiences, I have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to problem-solve and work collaboratively in a team.

Overall, my diverse set of skills and experiences have allowed me to excel in various roles and industries. I am dedicated, a quick learner, and constantly seeking opportunities to learn and grow.

I have worked in insurance sales and marketing, news directing, and public relations. In my role as an insurance sales and marketing agent, I focused on acquiring new clients, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and contributing to significant renewals. During my time as a news directing intern, I directed a show, trained show guests, and provided assistance during major live events. As a public relations intern, I managed social media profiles, created media kits, and prepared organizational publications. I also volunteered as a counselor/tutor and research volunteer, gaining valuable experience and developing strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Clinical Psychology degree from Daystar University with a GPA of 3.7. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology from Daystar University, where I maintained a GPA of 3.16. I completed a certificate program in Graphic Design from the Africa Digital Media Institute and a Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance from the College of Insurance, where I achieved a Distinction. Furthermore, I completed my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education at Mahiga Girls Secondary School, where I obtained a Grade B+.
