I am an aspiring accounting professional. As a dedicated and detail-oriented individual, I have always been fascinated by the world of numbers and the role they play in shaping the financial landscape of organizations. From an early age, I developed a knack for problem-solving and analyzing complex data, which naturally led me to pursue a career in accounting.

Currently enrolled as an accounting student, I am driven by my passion for numbers and the desire to acquire in-depth knowledge in the field. I firmly believe that accounting is the backbone of any successful business, providing the foundation for sound financial decision-making and overall stability. With every accounting course I undertake, I am captivated by the intricate web of principles, regulations, and techniques that govern this discipline.

Worked at the Nairobi City County, Finance and Economic Planning Sector, Imprest control office as an Intern.

Duties done;

• Initiating and validating imprest warrants and payment vouchers
• Posting of the validated warrants in the NCC imprest portal
• Surrendering of imprest warrants using IFMIS
• Management of records and receipts
• Clearing of employees under dismissed, retirement and death from the Nairobi County list of employees if they have no outstanding debts.
• Performed general office duties, filing, mailing, scanning and data entry

Undergoing the degree program in Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Nairobi. I am currently in my Fourth Year of studying in my last semester.
