I am an individual full of determination and I love using my skills, training and experience to
add value to the community. I have always been passionate about sustainable agriculture
(organic agriculture) and environmental conservation. This has keyed my interest in climate
change issues and what can be done to adapt and mitigate impacts to future generation's
livelihoods.

Experience
Dr. J. Chepkemoi is a soil scientist with over 8 years’ experience in soil research, knowledge of ecosystem services, soil greenhouse gas, agronomic systems and crop nutrient management acquired during academics and work experience. She has extensive knowledge, skills and scientific orientation in i. Application of soil and water management practices to increase crop productivity by adaptation to climate change. ii. Soil, water testing and quality monitoring. iii. Classifying and mapping soils. iv. Soils as they relate crop growth. v. Soil fertilization and irrigation practices. She holds a PhD in soil Science; MSc. in Sustainable soil resource management and BSc. in Management of agro-ecosystem and environment all from the University of Nairobi.
