As a security surveillance controller, I am a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with a strong sense of responsibility towards maintaining a safe environment. I possess extensive knowledge of security systems and technology, and I am well-versed in surveillance protocols and procedures. WORK EXPERIENCE; 2022 APRIL TO DATE: EAST AFRICAN BREWERIES LIMITED UNDER LADY ASKARI LIMITED. POSITION: SURVEILLANCE CONTROLLER. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES; 

✓ Monitoring and analyzing security systems: Responsible for monitoring and analyzing the security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms. They must identify potential security risks and take action to mitigate any threats.

 ✓ Responding to incidents: Responding to security incidents in a timely and effective manner. Also, to assess the situation, implement the appropriate security protocols, and liaise with law enforcement as necessary. 

✓ Maintaining accurate records: Keeping accurate records of all incidents, including details of any security breaches, and provide reports as required. 

✓ Developing and implementing security policies and procedures: Responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and industry standards. Also ensure that all staff and stakeholders are aware of these policies and procedures and that they are followed at all times.

 ✓ Conducting security assessments: Conducting regular security assessments to identify any vulnerabilities and implement strategies to mitigate potential security risks. 

✓ Training staff: Providing training to staff on security protocols and procedures, including emergency response procedures, VHF radio responses.

 ✓ Liaising with external stakeholders: Liaising with external stakeholders, including law enforcement, to ensure that security measures are coordinated and effective. 

✓ Maintaining confidentiality: Maintaining the confidentiality of all information related to security incidents and ensure that all staff and stakeholders understand the importance of confidentiality. 

✓ Conducting investigations; Ensuring that proper evidence is acquired, preserved, corroborated and documented.

 ✓ Overseeing security services offered to clients; Ensuring plant deliveries, and key management, parking management and executive escorts as required from time to time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES; 

✓ Ensuring accurate weighing: Ensuring accurate weighing of all incoming and outgoing goods. Also, to ensure that the weighing equipment is calibrated correctly and that all procedures are followed to ensure accuracy. 

✓ Recording weighbridge data: Recording all weighbridge data accurately and maintain detailed records of all incoming and outgoing goods. 

✓ Coordinating with other departments: Coordinating with other departments, such as production and logistics, to ensure that all goods are weighed and processed in a timely and efficient manner.

 ✓ Ensuring compliance with regulations: Ensuring that all weighing procedures are compliant with relevant regulations, such as health and safety regulations and environmental regulations. 

✓ Identifying and reporting discrepancies: Identifying and reporting of any discrepancies in weighing data and take appropriate action to address these discrepancies.

 ✓ Providing customer service: Provision of an excellent customer service to all drivers and other stakeholders who use the weighbridge.

✓ Maintaining weighbridge equipment: Ensuring that the weighbridge equipment is well-maintained and in good working order at all times. 

✓ Training and supervising staff: Responsible for training and supervising other staff members who work on the weighbridge.
