Im a Kenyan registered nurse trained at consolata school of nursing and higher diploma in nephrology trained in University of Nairobi.currently working in coptic hospital as a renal nurse

I currently work at Coptic hospital as a registered nurse in renal department where  I have developed skills in management of patient with renal issues  I monitor patient predialyis, intradialysis and post dialysis.

As a outpatient nurse officer  and incharge I ensure that all required commodities are always available.
I participating in the casualty management of different cases including emergencies and referral of complicated cases to a more advanced facility. I also assist mothers during Antenatal care visit, offering FP services and immunization to children under 5 years, I participated in  treatment of minor ailment using current IMCI guidelines and referral of more complicated cases to a more advanced facility. I ensure patient confidentiality is well maintained through proper record keeping in a well lockable cabinets.
I ensure that documentation is well done and I submit report to sub county offices every month.
I administer prescribed drugs to the right patient,right route,right doses and I ensure proper documentation

November 2018 - January 2019 
Developed skills in management of pregnant mother during,Antenatal care  labour, delivery, after delivery and care of newborns. Have also participated in management of mother undergoing C/S. Also I have gained skills in diagnosis of abnormalities during labour and after delivery to the mother and newborn.
Home based care
September 2018- October 2018
I participated in helping Client with critical condition through doing daily nursing total care to avoid complications which may arise. I'm able to inform physician when there is emergency and assist him or her during any procedure.
Caring for a critical client has helped me in gaining more skills on how to care these client through feeding, skin care, assessment of emergency planning and implementation.
