I'm a recent Public Health graduate with strong computer skills in Microsoft Office. I excel in communication, both as a team leader and collaborator. I'm skilled in article development and social media management, passionate about making a positive impact with my expertise.

In my journey towards a career in public health, I had the privilege of undertaking two pivotal internships. The first was at the Dagoretti South Sub-County Public Health Office in Nairobi, Kenya. I was responsible for various tasks, including responding to calls and emails, conducting sanitary inspections, disease surveillance, literature reviews for research, and data collection. These responsibilities equipped me with practical research skills and exposed me to the world of public health practice. The experience also allowed me to build a valuable professional network, learn about project management, and enhance my communication skills.

The second internship took place at Gatundu South Level 5 Hospital in Kiambu, Kenya. Here, I focused on patient care and health education, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. I performed blood sugar tests, kept records, conducted sanitary inspections, community diagnosis, and engaged in needs assessments. The experience improved my communication skills, project evaluation abilities, and provided valuable insights into mental health management.

Both internships have significantly shaped my career trajectory in public health, enhancing my practical skills, expanding my knowledge, and improving my communication and project management abilities. These experiences have been essential in preparing me to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of communities in the future.

In my education journey, i recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Public health at Jomo Kenyatta University. I achieved a B+ in my Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education at St. Joseph's secondary school and my educational foundation began at Kilimani Primary School. These experiences have laid a groundwork for my passion and commitment towards contributing my expertise in various endeavours.
