Brian Njuguna

As a skilled data scientist, I am driven by a passion for uncovering insights from complex data. I bring a focused and detail-oriented approach to data analysis, leveraging my expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, interpretation, and presentation.

My extensive knowledge of statistical concepts, methods, and models, combined with advanced proficiency in various software packages, equips me to tackle analytical challenges with ease. I have a deep understanding of different machine learning algorithms, including decision trees, random forests, neural networks, and can apply them to a wide range of data problems.

I have been an intern at Kenya Power and Lighting Company where I used R programming language for analyzing data relating to customer classification. I also used python to draw a choropleth map showing the population Kenya according to Counties as well as electricity access in sub-counties. I have also participated in Kaggle machine learning competitions 

I have done Bachelor of Science in Statistics in Egerton University from the year 2018 to 2022, now awaiting graduation.

Recently, I have also done Courses in Course era namely;

1. Introduction to Data Science (Completed)
2. Mastering R programming Software (In progress) . I am also enrolled in ALX Software Engineering program to complete early next year.
