I have a passion for the above profession  for two reasons. First, I have always enjoyed  working  for the government of Kenya  since it provides a strong organisational culture that emphasizes delivery of results and continuous personal development. Second, I believe that you will find my passion for being certified Accountant , as well as my professional experience and skills ideal for the above-named position. 

I am a certified Public Accountant well conversant with  finance and Accounting profession currently serving as an Senior Accountant in Ministry of foreign affairs embassy of Somalia in mogadishu after working for  for over 9 years  with the Ministry of Health under National Tuberculosis Program at Kenyatta National Hospital. In this capacity, I have among other things, improved operational efficiency and compliance by implementing sound financial control procedure and policies, as well as providing guidance and ensuring adherence to both internal and external auditors recommendations. This is besides enhancing managerial decision making by preparing and managing statutory reports including monthly expenditure returns, monthly bank reconciliations, cash flow statements, as well as analysis of deposits and final accounts. I have also facilitated development and implementation of financial control systems, accurately prepared monthly payroll, and ensured timely filing of statutory deduction returns including PAYE, NHIF, NSSF and HELB for the National Tuberculosis Program Staff. 

Prior to this, I served  Accountant with the Ministry of Health, where I provided leadership in the formulation and review of financial management and operational strategies, and effectively aligned resource use with the organization’s growth projections. This is part of the proven capabilities that you will be adding to your organisation should you hire me.

Academically, I hold a Bachelor of Business Management in Accounting from Moi University. This is in addition to my Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA - K) finalist  from Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB) and and a member of institute of certified public Accountant Kenya (ICPAK), a Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) from Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) and a Certificate in Information Communication Technology (ICT) from Rural Aid Training Institute in Nairobi.
