a) answer phones, sometimes directing calls to other staff through the switchboard or phone system.
b) book appointments by phone.
c) answer queries from patients and other staff.

a) Creation of the OPD Medical Records
b) Managing of the patients'/ clients' appointment systems.
c) Maintenance of Patients’ master indices.
d) Preparation and maintenance of daily bed returns for the wards.
e) Completion and dispatching of Birth and Death notification forms to the maintained.
f)  Editing, sorting and filing of the patient’s medical records.
g) Coding and indexing of diseases and procedures.
h) Retrieval of patients’ medical records.
i) Ensuring the confidentiality of the medical records for the clients is maintained.
