I am a student in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Science in Industrial Mathematics.

My studies have taught me data analysis, optimization, mathematical modeling, and programming. Industrial mathematics applies math to business, engineering, and other challenges. This topic models, analyzes, and solves complex problems from several domains utilizing differential equations, optimization theory, linear algebra, and probability theory.

Industrial mathematics teaches us how to apply mathematical approaches to supply chain analysis, transportation system design, energy generation, and manufacturing process optimization. Students examine and evaluate these systems using numerical techniques and computer simulations.

The ultimate goal of industrial mathematics is to develop useful strategies that may be applied to increase the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the engineering and industrial sectors. I am eager to gain more experience in this field and I believe that an attachment with this company will provide an excellent opportunity to do so.
