About Berryline Naliaka Berryline:
I am a dedicated secondary school Geography and Business teacher, skilled at creating and
implementing a challenging and successful teaching program in line with the national curriculum.
I am adept at motivating students and promoting effective learning by setting clear tasks and
challenging by defining an attainable goal. I seek to instill positive attitude, virtue and good morals
to students to ensure they become responsible and viable members of our great Nation, Kenya and
beyond regional boundaries.
Experience
2022 – (Current) Geography/Business Teacher, Ileho Friends Secondary School, Kakamega
• Head of Subject-Geography: introduced a methodology approach to
understand the strength and weaknesses of individual students to ensure
that each of the students have an in-depth grasp of the subject.
• Games Teacher: coordinated all the students of similar attributes and
objectives towards games activities while at the same time providing
guidance and counselling to respective groups/individuals.
2021 (May-August); Geography/Business Teacher, Charity Centre of Education, Mtwapa.
• Motivated students through awarding the best students and hence
improving the performance of the whole class in the targeted subjects.
• Provided appropriated counselling and coached students to become
responsible individuals in society after School.
• Took Students for field studies to have a deeper understanding of the
respective subjects.
• Liaising with the Co-Subject teaching colleagues to share knowledge and
learn from others on the appropriate techniques for teaching the targeted
subjects.
2021 (Jan to April): Volunteer-Geography/Business Teacher, Arabuko Forest high school.
• Volunteered in teaching of Geography and Business.
• Games Teacher: coordinated all the students of similar attributes and
objectives towards games activities while at the same time providing
guidance and counselling to respective groups/individuals.
• Took students for tour in order for them to understand the physical
features they learned in class thus expanding their knowledge and
comprehension of Geography as a Subject.
