1.Plan, organize, control and schedule the day to day activities of the mechanical workshops in association with operational service heads. 2.Inspect and authorize all repair works undertaken by vehicle workshop staff and external suppliers. 3.Ensure that, so far as practicable, work is carried out to the required instructions, timescales and standards, and those relevant documents are produced, checked and verified. 3.Order, verify and code materials to meet work requirements including monitoring and control of workshop stores. 4.Maintain and provide all work records required within the section, particularly in relation to employee holiday, sickness and accidents. 5.Carry out Risk Assessments and produce safe systems of work processes and procedures. 6.Carry out any other duties that are within the scope and grading of the post which could also be requested by the line manager or Head of Service. 7.Control and follow up vehicles waiting for parts. Labor coding control, work in progress control and follow up. 8.Technical support request to brand. 9.Internal communication containing brands information. 10.Quality control and customer satisfaction follow up. 11.Workshop consumables charge control and follow up corrective actions. 12.Authorisation and control of internal charges invoicing. 13.Waste control management. 14.Special tools warehouse tidiness and proper usage control. 15.Tools inventory plan, requirements and request. 16.Exterior parking general organization and tidiness. 17.Rework follow up and register.
