More than eight years of MEL Specialist level expertise and applied skills in project leadership, planning, implementation, and evaluation. My areas of expertise include overall program design and management based on formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures, capacity building and quality improvement. In my role as Monitoring and Evaluation specialist, I developed M&E tools and processes, oversaw data collection methodologies, ensured data quality through routine data quality assurance activities, and analysed financial, sociodemographic data, prepared project reports including lessons learned and best practice documentation, provided training and capacity building, and represented the organizations to internal and external stakeholders.

2018– 2019 Plan International, Conakry, Guinea Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist :

Oversaw the monitoring and evaluations function on several USAID-funded projects. Developed and implemented M&E tools and processes and implemented data collection methodologies and supervision. Ensured data quality by conducting routine data quality assurance activities, prepared project reports including lessons learned and best practice documentation, analysed and visualized data, provided training support, and represented the project positively and professionally to internal and external stakeholders.

2017-2018 Jhpiego, Labe, Guinea Regional Advisor Monitoring Evaluation: 

Developed, implemented and oversaw data collection procedures and database, developed monitoring plans and data quality assurance plans, analysed project performance and managed all project reporting, provided technical assistance and provided training and mentoring to M&E and other technical staff, and represented the project/organization.

2017 National Institute of Statistics, Conakry, Guinea Consultant MICS Survey:

Developed data collection strategy, methodologies, and tools for the multi-indicator survey, supervised its implementation, analysed data, and developed the final report.

2017 Plan International, Conakry, Guinea Planning and Monitoring Specialist: 

Supported organization involved in socioeconomic and demographic surveys and data collection, facilitated and participated in partners’ survey design, analysed the quality and reliability of available data sources and promoted harmonization, oversaw data collection, analysis and dissemination, supported periodic organizational progress reviews, prepared public reports for publishing, and provided overall support to the M&E component of the organization. 

2016-2017 National Institute of Statistics, Conakry, Guinea Survey Manager:

 Developed tools for data collection, trained and over saw a team of agents to conduct surveys, developed database and supported questionnaires coding, analysed data, and ensured necessary reporting. 

2012-2013 Plenete Blue, Conakry, Guinea Monitoring and Evaluation Officer: 

Developed database, and supervised a team that collected data, oversaw data cleaning and analysis, ensured data quality and contributed to project reporting.
