Axumawit Meressa

I have been working as general practitioner in a private practice for a brief period in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Then I relocate to Nairobi, kenya. I was on a process in to getting my registration and license. Licensing requires talking two sets of Exam . Currently I have acquired both and I’m on my venture to practice in Nairobi county.

Worked in four of the department internal medicine ,surgery ,obstetric & gynaecology , paediatric  and child health

• Medical Internship at BLACK LION Specialized Hospital, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia October, 2020 - October, 2021 

Completed daily rounds and check to patients and identify any                      reasons for concern. Built strong foundation in medical practice by contributing to different areas of patient care and administrative practices. Conducted physical assessments of relevant body areas and performed standardized tests to check responses.

• Research Data Collector November, 2019 – February 2020  Assessment of knowledge about cervical CA among Tikur Anbessa Hospital pre-clinical students and the prevalence of those who had pap smear test ever.
