Experience

Arnold Njenga has a strong academic background and technical skills in the field of civil engineering, with a focus on structural engineering and transport engineering. Arnold has gained practical experience through various internships and employment positions. He worked as a Structural Engineer Intern at BSC Group in Boston, Massachusetts, where he was involved in designing low-rise structural buildings and connections. He also collaborated with structural designers and architects in parametric modeling of high-rise structures using software such as PANGOLIN and GRASSHOPPER.

Additionally, Arnold interned at WizzAir Hungary, where he assisted with airline management tasks, including providing information on financial payment gateways, group reservation for passengers, and compensation on claims according to regulations. He also worked as a Geotechnical Design Intern at GEOVIL MERNOKI in Budapest, Hungary, where he designed retaining walls, diaphragm walls, and pile foundations for bridges.

Arnold has been involved in several projects, including the design of a 22-story concrete building in Budapest, where he collaborated with architects and developed preliminary calculations according to Eurocode Standards.

He has demonstrated leadership and volunteer experience through his involvement in the International Student Organization in Warsaw, Poland, where he assisted international students from Africa in various activities and helped them integrate into different clubs and societies.

Arnold has received the Stipendium Hungary Scholarship for his outstanding performance in high school, and he is a graduate engineer member of the Engineers Board of Kenya and the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers.

In addition to his professional experience, Arnold has contributed as a columnist on LinkedIn, writing about topics related to transport infrastructure, traffic control, and multimodal transport nodes. He has also gained practical skills as a manual worker during his apprenticeship, where he performed tasks such as brick bonding, wall breaking, painting, and placing ETICS on façades.
