Experience
I worked as a jury member for the Francophonie; This was a national debate that had been organized by the Francophonie engaging many students from various universities and sponsored by the French embassy in Kenya. The event had the primary purpose to promote the French culture and language and as a jury member, I had the task to identify during the debate a number of students who had some knowledge and mastery in the aforementioned language so that they could represent Kenya abroad in an international debate. During the same debate, I also played a role of translator and interpreter doing live interpreting and translating from French to English and from English to French because we had on one hand some participants who couldn't understand nor speak French and on another hand those who couldn't understand nor speak English.
I also worked as an investigator for the UNHCR; I worked for this this organization as a day laborer for six months. My main duty and responsibility for this position was the collection of data for the people that were forced to flee because of an intercommunity war that occurred. I had the duty of identifying the really displaced people because some people from outside the camp so that they could benefit the aid from UNHCR.
I worked again as a teacher; I was responsible and in charge of monitoring and evaluating teachers who were training the grade 6 students. I was also in charge of compiling the marks per student and per lesson for each subject of the aforementioned grade. I have to mention that before I started teaching them, they were not able neither to read nor to speak the French language correctly but in a short period after being with them, they became excellent.
Education
I attended a diploma in IT systems support which includes : PC maintenance, Computer applications ( Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, Email and messenger, etc ), Os functionalities, Troubleshooting, Information and technology, etc
I also attended a certificate in computer applications/packages for the aforementioned period. This includes: word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Emailing, PowerPoint, Outlook, Typing Skills and others.
I also hold a 5 year bachelor's degree in Social, Political and Administrative Sciences; In my country a bachelor's degree is for five years from which three years are mandatory for all students to be in the campus while the remaining two are mostly for the research. I started my program from October of the year 2017 up to February of the year 2022 which makes a total of effective five years.
