Position:  Data Officer

Key Achievements:

  • Introduced a better filling system which led to safe client record-keeping and easy retrieval of the files. 
  • Installed M-Pesa payment software hence better payment for employees.
  • Improved data recording and storage due to the implemented Kenya EMR system.
  • Improved data accuracy and security. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensured each component: outreach, nursing, HTS, ART/CCC, and DDT has updated data collection tools and are used well in collecting data and are well kept or filled.
  • Participated in planning meetings and ensured set goals and objectives are met.
  • Collected weekly and monthly reports from each component using appropriate data tools, recorded, analyze and disseminate as planned to stakeholders.
  • Maintained updated database and good filling system.
  • Maintained systemic and continuous records for outreach, HTS, CCC/ART, and DDT.
  • Checked and reported any faults of the office equipment and supporting staff members on how to use the office equipment.
  • Attended trainings and training service providers on how to use systems in recording data for example the Kenya EMR.
  • Gave service providers any technical assistance required in using systems and fixing errors to ensure smooth running of the activities in the organization.
  • Did monthly reports and reporting to the relevant stakeholders using Datim, MOH 731 and 731 Plus, KPIF tool, DHIS and 3PM.
  • Assisted the Director and Admin/Finance officer in carrying out administration work like preparing Local Purchase orders and Requisitions, maintaining asset registers and stationeries. Monitoring financial expenses and accountability. 
  • Developed tools and registers, installed software and performed other duties as need may arise.
