Ambrose Aboge

I have worked for AutoXpress Limited, All Africa Conference of Churches and Meridian Equator Hospital Ltd in different capacities.

As a Financial Accountant at AutoXpress Limited, I was responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with all implementing partners, ensuring that all financial transactions were properly documented and accounted for, in accordance with AutoXpress policies and procedures. I also provided technical assistance to implementing partners’ budgets, including tracking expenditures, preparing reports, and resolving financial issues.

As Assistant Financial Accountant at AACC, I supported audits of implementing partner organizations, reviewed draft accounts, and facilitated the closure of audit findings. I also prepared consolidated financial reports for the All-Africa Conference of Churches management, and developed and updated reporting tools for implementing partners, ensuring they were user-friendly and met the needs of implementing partners.

As Finance Assistant at Meridian Equator Hospital Ltd, I actively participated in implementing partners’ performance reviews. I provided capacity building to implementing partner staff, uploaded financial data into the ERP, and followed up on outstanding invoices.

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Tax Administration from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology where I wrote a thesis on the “Effect of domestic taxes on economic growth in Kenya.” 

I also hold a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Nairobi where I earned grade A in six courses including Actuarial Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Probability Modelling, Calculus I, Computational Methods, and Data Analysis. I also led the School of Mathematics Module II class at the University of Nairobi.
