As a Radio Professional, I have had the opportunity to wear multiple hats and gain a wide range of experience in the industry. As a Writer and Correspondent for Too much Information with Ty Gachira (NTV), I was responsible for analyzing current affairs and creating original, humor-based content for a satirical news show. I also served as a correspondent for various segments, providing in-depth coverage and commentary on a wide range of topics. Through my ability to analyze complex issues and deliver compelling content, I helped to make the show a must-watch for viewers interested in current events and political satire.

As a Producer, Presenter, and Digital Media Coordinator for Radio44, I was responsible for coordinating with producers and on-air talent to create program content, new ideas, and segments. I also operated technical equipment such as radio desks and soundboards, and assisted the Station Manager with programming, scheduling, production, and other operational issues. I was also responsible for increasing customer engagement through social media, and played an instrumental role in planning and implementing a social media marketing plan that resulted in the station's Instagram following increasing from approximately 500 to over 2000 in one year. I was responsible for curating and managing social media content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, and used software such as Sony Vegas and Adobe V 1.5 to create and edit audio-visual content, including audio ads, promotions, stubs, and other audio content. Additionally, I created adverts by researching the client's brand, products, objectives, scripting ads, and producing the final audio-visual ad for radio and social media content.

As an on-air presenter for Radio44, I was responsible for hosting and co-hosting live radio shows, engaging with listeners through call-ins and social media, and providing up-to-date news and information on current events and trending topics. I also conducted interviews with guests and experts, and delivered live coverage of events and breaking news. I was able to connect with listeners through my relatable, engaging and dynamic on-air persona, and was able to build a strong following and positive reputation among listeners. I was also responsible for preparing and researching for each show, and I always ensure that the topics and guests are relevant and interesting for the audience.

Overall, my experience in the radio industry has allowed me to gain a comprehensive understanding of the various aspects of radio production, presentation, and digital media coordination. I have honed my skills in research, analysis, writing, and presentation, and have developed a keen sense of what listeners want and expect from their favorite radio shows. I am a dedicated and passionate professional who is committed to delivering high-quality content that is both informative and entertaining.
