I am a highly motivated and experienced individual with bachelors of science degree in agriculture from Egerton university, with six years’ hands-on experience in working with local partners and livelihoods program management with NGOs in Turkana and Bungoma County’s. Over the years I have acquired hands on experience and skills in assessment and response analysis of community and household needs including refugee set-up and implementation of projects, internal and external coordination, and monitoring and evaluation.

My understanding of projects life cycle, community entry, and conflict management will come in handy during mobilization, targeting of beneficiaries and capacity building activities at household and community level.  In my previous role of agricultural officer, I was responsible of coordinating implementation of agriculture, WASH systems rehabilitation, community natural disaster preparedness, capacity building (including VSLAs), designing and planning. It is my belief this experience will enable to deliver on designing, work plan development, community and county engagement, and rolling out of implementation strategies resulting in positive outcomes.

I also have the ability to conduct assessments, surveys and research to identify problems associated with the livestock and crop production and to find suitable solutions for these problems.  My exceptional excellent verbal and written skills, and problem solving will help me to convey the need for concern and to explain why changes are needed to achieve change in the communities. Other relevant skills that make me suitable for a position excellent time management and ability to work without constant supervision. Having the above exposure and experience, I believe I have the experience and skills needed to contribute towards the achievement of the organization’s goals given an opportunity. I hold Bachelors of Science degree in Agriculture, experienced in providing professional advice to farmers and learners on the selection, ordering, planting, crop protection. dryland agriculture, extension services, and maintenance of agricultural crops. I am a fast learner, honest, team player and can work under pressure with minimal supervision. I am now seeking a long-term position in the agriculture industry where I can impart my skills in the field as I support employers towards achieving their set goals, vision, mission and increase agricultural productivity.
