ALICE OMONDI

I am a Kenyan, 43 years of age and a holder of a Bachelor Degree in Family and Consumer Services from Kenyatta University, computer literate and holder of a valid driving licence. 15 years of robust experience in  Child Protection Programming, Social Welfare, Social Services , Family Strengthening, Community Development, Operations and Administration. 

I am passionate about working with vulnerable groups, OVCs and creating a positive change in families and communities towards self reliance and sustainability.

I am a leader, a team player with good organising and management; able to make decisions, negotiate and solve problems, communication skills and computer proficiency. 

2007 -2022 : Worked at Feed The Children-Kenya as a Social Work Coordinator and Administrator. Overseeing the day to day running of a child protection programme, social welfare and family empowerment initiatives and community outreach projects.

2006-2007 : Child Protection Consultant: Conducting assessments, generating and representing reports for the High Courts of Kenya in both local and International adoption

2004-2006: Worked at Little AngelsNetwork as a Program Officer cum Front Office Representative 

1999-2003 : Bachelor Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Kenyatta University
