This innovative system incorporated facial recognition for unlocking, utilizing components such as Raspberry Pi, a camera, and a solenoid lock. I programmed a Python model to facilitate the training and testing of data, leading to a successfully tested prototype showcased at the McMaster Engineering Expo. Additionally, I demonstrated my proficiency in designing measurement tools during the creation of The Digital Inclination Angle Measurement System. Using EsduinoXtreme, MC9S12G Family, and ADXL337 accelerometer, I programmed the microcontroller in C to acquire and digitize data. The angle of inclination was then displayed using MATLAB, resulting in a project that received a perfect score in its final demonstration.
