• Enhanced the quality of healthcare provided and effectively curbed staff malpractices that may have resulted in infections by effectively supervising the implementation of protocols.
• Successfully managed the distribution of drugs and consumables, as well as training of staff on appropriate use of the material resources.
• Enhanced the quality of life for newborn babies and expectant mothers by ensuring they were enrolled in the Extended Program on Immunization (EPI).
• Ensured quick notification to doctors or medical teams about possible serious problems or complications including worsening state of patients or problems with medicines.

Elwak Sub-County Referral Hospital - Mandera

• Supervised and coordinated all nursing care services including general nursing, obstetrical care, neonatal care and management of victims of sexual violence.
• Ensured that staff assigned to triage, patient care, and case management adhere to standard operating procedures, including the respect of staff turn-over and shifts.
• Ensured that appropriate infection prevention and control practices were being adhered to, as advised by the Infection Control Practitioners including prevention and management of cholera and malaria.
• Conducted health education and sensitization to patients and communities, mother to child HIV transmission campaigns, importance of ANC clinics as well as good nutrition.

• Conducted outreach services as well as door to door polio immunization campaigns.
• Effectively mobilized the community in promotion of health and hygiene. 
• Encouraged HIV counseling and testing and provided psychological support to the HIV positive.
