Adam Githayo

I am Adam Githayo an accountant by profession with 8+ years in finance and accounting. I am currently an assistant credit officer at Mwalimu National Sacco where my responsibility are to analyze the credit worthiness of members. I have previously as an accountant in Horizons Group Ltd where I handle both accounts payable and receivables while doubling up as an assistant procurement officer. 

I have over 8+ years in the finance and accounts department having started as an intern growing my skills and experience until now am an assistant credit officer at Mwalimu National Sacco. Through my career I have assisted in implementing a cashless payment system that assisted in reducing risk of money loss and ensured transparency, reduced current debtors by 90% while rescuing 52% of bad debts. I have participated in preparation of group management accounts and departmental budgets. 

I have a degree in finance from the University of Nairobi and currently a cpa finalist
